Adding Credits to Profile
Why is it important to add up-to-date credits to your profile?
Industry credits are a great way for members on our network to get a sense of what you’ve done professionally in the past. This helps with both hiring crew onto new productions and getting hired onto new productions!
How To Add Credits To Your Profile
Once you log in to your account at https://impact.net/, click your profile icon at the top right hand of the screen, then select “My Profile.”
Scroll down to either the “Credit Spotlight” or “Credits” box and select the pencil icon at the top right.
From there, select “Add New Credit.” Type to search the name of the production you have worked on. If a production you worked on is not listed on our platform, you can learn how to “Request a Production” here.
Once you click on the project, you can type to search for a wide array of crew roles associated with a production. Hit “Save” and voila! A new credit should be added to your profile.
If a particular role is not listed, continue to type the role exactly as you’d like it listed on your profile. Select “Add Role" and hit “Save.” Adding credits manually will not inhibit others from viewing your contribution to a production.
Spotlighting Credits
The Credit Spotlight tool is meant to highlight certain productions at the top of your profile. These will be the first productions and credits that others will see. You can use this tool to spotlight projects you’re most proud of, or that represent your best body of work.
From either the “Credit Spotlight” or “Credits'' box, select the pencil icon once again, and then hit the star button that is next to the production you’d like to spotlight. Alternatively, you can select “Add Your First Spotlight” under the Credit Spotlight box as well.
Deleting Credits
You can delete a credit from your profile at any time. Select the pencil icon under the “Credits” box. Select a production from your list of added credits, then select “Delete This Credit” at the bottom left of the tab. A pop-up will appear confirming you’d like to delete a credit. Select “Delete” to proceed.
