Who is an Administrator in CrewChat?
Every Production in CrewChat has Administrators to manage the Crew List and post Announcements. View the Administrators on a particular production’s Crew List by tapping the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the app. If on CrewChat web, select the Settings tab.
What can an Administrator do in CrewChat?
Administrators in CrewChat have the ability to post crew-wide Announcements. Administrators can post important updates in the Announcements feed to communicate with the entire Crew quickly and easily.
Administrators can also upload and attach photos or files, such as a Call Sheet. Click into the Announcements banner on the Messages tab, type a message or simply press the yellow "+" button to take a photo, add an existing photo or share a file.
Administrators also have the ability to add and remove other Administrators on the mobile app, as well as, remove crew from CrewChat in the Settings tab on web. More below.
How-To Add an Administrator
Upon signing up for CrewChat, the Production Office will let Impact know who needs initial Administrator-status. Existing Administrators will have the ability to add or remove additional Administrators. Select the gear icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. To remove an Administrator, select the ellipses next to their name.
