Why should you include tags on your profile?
Producers and executives have said overwhelmingly that they like to search for writers using filters and tags so we require that you have at least 1 tag to be visible in search results, but it is in your best interest to have as many as are applicable to you, especially one each of ethnicity/race, gender, and the genre and format you work best in.
Adding Tags on a New Profile
There are two ways outlined below on how to add Tags to your new profile. If you haven't already, please visit your profile here in order to manage your profile tags: http://app.impact.net/profile/user
Adding Tags via Profile Incomplete Box
- On a new profile, you may see Profile Incomplete block on your profile page.
- To add Tags, click on the "Add Tags" link on that block

- On a new profile, click on the Add Section button
- Click Tags
- See "Selecting Tags that Best Represents Your Profile" for further steps.

- Once you activated the Edit Tags box, you can now select the tags that best fit your profile.
- After selecting your tags, click Save Changes to add the tags to your profile.
How to Edit Existing Tags on a Profile
- Please navigate to your Profile page, if are not on that page already.
- Go to the "TAGS" section of your profile
- Click the Pencil icon (Edit)
- Add tags by selecting ones that are not highlighted
- Remove tags by clicking on the circle X next to the tag
- Once your tags are updated, click "Save Changes".
