What Are Shouts & Why Should I Shout Out Others?
Shouts are a great way to recognize your peers and showcase your own expertise to other crew and those looking to hire. A shout out from a crew member contributes to the strength of your profile and may help expedite the vetting processes for department heads on the Impact network. Give a shout to receive a shout!
How To Give A Shout Out
Once you log-in to your Impact account, you should see a blurb at the home screen urging you to “Recognize Your Colleagues.” To give a shout, simply click the green ribbon icon next to a crew member’s credit. The ribbon icon will activate and the yellow text next to the button will turn grey, letting you know that you’ve “Shouted” out said crew member or department.
Alternatively, from your profile page, scroll down to the “Credits” box and select a production from your list of credits. This will take you to the production’s page where you can view all crew associated with the project, organized by department. Select the “Give A Shout” button next to the crew member you’d like to shout out. Pat yourself on the back for recognizing your peers!
Click Into Shouts
Click the green ribbon icon next to your credit to view your endorsers! When you click on a shout ribbon, a pop-up window will appear showing exactly who shout you out. As a hirer, it's a great way to see who exactly is endorsing a potential candidate you may want to consider for a role.
And there you have it on Shouts! If you have any further questions or have a particular concern that was not addressed in this article, please reach out to Impact Support.
